100% Women

The Great Saint Laurence Church

The Great Saint Laurence Church

AT THE GREAT SAINT LAURENCE CHRUCH

KOORSTRAAT 2, 1811 GP ALKMAAR, NETHERLANDS

I have the great honor of being selected to participate in an international group show. While I don’t expect you to fly to the Netherlands with me, I’m sure you understand how excited I am about this opportunity. Your appreciation can be given from afar. The show will take place in a town called Alkmaar, about an hour from Amsterdam. One hundred female artists will be adorning this landmark church (more like a cathedral) with their work.

Here’s a note from the team behind the show.

“The international exhibition “100% FEMALE” aims to correct the stereotypical representation of women. We want to reflect on a more realistic representation of the role women play in our societies. Not an activist-kind of exhibition, but a gentle action to give a face to the diversity of women in our societies. Not by banning artworks to the basement of our culture, but to add and complete.”

I’ll be sharing updates on Instagram and Facebook, so keep an eye out!

Think+View+Solve

AT THE ATRIUM

7300 FOLSOM BLVD, SACRAMENTO, CA 95826 (map)

Myself and ten other artists will be showing at the Atrium as part of View+Think+Solve. View+Think+Solve is a project that aims to create a place where artists, non-profit advocates, and the community at large can come together and converge over art and issues local to the Sacramento Metro Area. The minds behind View+Think+Solve believe that with the help of advocates, artists, and community supporters, like yourself, awareness and resources can be brought to problems local to the Sacramento area.

I will be present at the public events and available for personal appointments. Let’s get together and look at some art!
